How I Learned to Become a Gift-Giver with the Help of Arch Heritage

· corporate gifts

When I first met my husband I thought we would never end up together because he was too sensitive for me. It was like this one date that we had in the movies when he bought me popcorn and drinks and I forgot to say thank you. I did not mean to come out as a bad person but I just forgot to say it because I was excited about the film. Nonetheless, he did not take it well because his love languages were acts of service and receiving gifts. And mine were words of affirmation and quality time. If you think about it we are not entirely opposites but it is important to meet each other halfway. For me, all it took was getting customised gifts in Singapore for him!

In our fifth year of marriage, the belief of meeting each other’s love language in the middle is what I hold onto. I am so glad I did because if I did not think about learning how to speak in his love language, I would not be writing this right now because we would have broken up. So, here is the story about how I learned to become a gift-giver with the help of Arch Heritage!

The importance of gift-giving
You have to know that learning to become an excellent gift-giver does not happen overnight because it is a process. One thing you have to know about giving gifts is that it must always come from the heart. For instance, when you want to give your co-employees corporate gifts from a Singapore store like Arch Heritage, you should not expect or even want something in return. That is the essence of gift-giving! When I learned this I never stopped thinking about it because I remember all the times that my husband gave me gifts during our dating stage and throughout our relationship. He is truly a guy for keeps. And, even though the essence of giving gifts is to not expect anything in return, I still want to make him special like how he did with me. So, here are the things that I did.

Asking for help
You might think that you can do everything on your own but I am telling you that you cannot. Humans are naturally dependent on each other. So, there is nothing wrong with asking for help. As for me, I asked the help from the staff of Arch Heritage. I remember coming across their store and seeing Singapore heritage gifts and visual artworks hanging on the wall. Apparently, they sell varieties of products that you can give as a gift and some of them are handmade! So, almost shyly, I asked for their help to know the right gift for our fifth wedding anniversary.

First, they suggested that I get him a frame of his zodiac sign. He was born in the year of the pig. I thought maybe that could work. But, one staff member opposed it! He said it should be as special as a customised gift. This is when I started listening intently because he was right. It should be symbolic so I had the picture of us edited and put in the background of our house today. It was so simple but I know that the moment we took that picture, we would be together for a long time.

The quality of the gift
After three days, I returned to the store to claim the gift. I almost cried when I saw it because it was so beautiful! I was so excited to give it to my husband that I wanted to give it to him as soon as I went home. But, our anniversary happens in a week. So, I appreciated that Arch Heritage was able to finish my customised gift before our celebration!

When I went home that day, I studied my gift intently. I noticed that it was almost realistic! This means that they really devoted some time in editing and polishing our photo. The frame where it is inserted had a unique design. I am thinking maybe it is customised too but I cannot be too sure. But, by looking at it, it seems like it was a handmade gift. Overall, I am so grateful that I have come across Arch Heritage because I am excited to purchase more from them. Their staff was accommodating and helpful in making me choose the right gift!

Do I recommend Arch Heritage?
The rise of technology might eliminate the need for making our own gifts but Arch Heritage keeps handmade gift ideas alive in Singapore! If you are into that, then I highly recommend them for you.
