But don’t be complacent. Just because online furniture shopping is quick and convenient doesn’t mean it doesn’t come with some downsides. You may be faced with a few risks if you’re not careful about where you shop. For example, if you discover a furniture shop that sells furniture at prices too good to be true, then dig deeper. If they’re missing crucial information like addresses or contact details, that’s a big red flag.
An online furniture store in Singapore that does not provide pictures or has incomplete details about the piece of furniture that you’re looking at could be legitimate, but it’s also best if you look elsewhere. Not having enough information on the furniture you’re buying runs the risk of you not being completely satisfied with the product you receive.
Finally, take a look at their shipping and returns policies. Is it generous? Do you see anything off with their policies? Delivering furniture without knowing the actual state of the product before you receive it is a risky endeavour. Companies that are proud of the quality of their products will almost always offer some form of buyer assurance.
